God Delights in ME!

Everyone goes through rough times, and often those times can make a Christian wonder, "What is God doing?"  We can have the tendency to wonder if God knows what we need and if He really understands what we are going through.  Be assured, though, God knows and He understands; in fact, we can rest in knowing that God will deliver because He delights in us. Psalm 18: 19 says, "He brought me forth also also into a large place; he delivered me, because he delighted in me." God loves me and He loves you--deliverance will come because God delights in you! The deliverance that God provides may not always be what we think it will be, but God has a divine plan that is better than anything we could imagine for ourselves. The key to our deliverance from trials is trust. Trust God to bring you through; don't even try to rely on your own devices. A season of trial is the opportune time to take a look inside and evaluate your relationship with Christ. Are you really trusting in Him? Are you relying on God's promises? At the back of my Bible there are several scripture verses dealing with God's promises. Often I turn to that section and spend time looking up verses that deal with doubt, fear, confusion, impatience, etc.  God's Word has all the answers, if only we trust. What a blessed assurance to know that GOD DELIGHTS IN ME! Trials do not come because God has it out for me or because He has forgotten me. There is a purpose for every thing God brings into our lives. His desire is to refine us and make us more like Him. Why? Because HE DELIGHTS IN ME!
